Sony to release a full line of Google TV TVs

Google TV seems really interesting, but do you really want to buy yet another box to sit under your TV? Sony is going to help you solve that conundrum by releasing a new line of TVs that have Google TV hardware and software built right in.

Sony's Google TV line will include four different TVs, coming in screen sizes of 24, 32, 40 and 46 inches. Each will come with an Intel processor built in, allowing you to use Google TV to surf the Web and watch Internet videos right on your set. They'll range in price from just under $1,000 up to $1,900 when they're released later this year.

Looks like a challenger may have arrived against Apple.

Pretty pricey. I wonder if the web surfing feature will be any good. On the PS# it kinda sucks.

Yeah, and they're quite small too, but I suppose people will buy into the trend like they always do anyways.

I suppose so. Well, computers still remain a main for me... IMO monitors are both HD, and I can view just about anything from the PC, so a television that costs a lot and isn't large would be redundant.
