Sony shows off its own flexible E Ink display
Coming hot on the heels of LG's announcement last month, Sony just revealed a flexible E Ink display of their own, using a rollable plastic substrate that they say is much harder to damage than a rigid e-reader.
The display was part of the annual showcase they hold for their Japanese retailers, and with those big 'do not touch' signs, you've got to wonder if the prototype will flex any further than what is shown in the picture.
No word on when this will actually become available, although the race to bring a Flexible E Ink display to market is clearly getting pretty heated.
