Watson, IBM's trivia-bot, to debut on Jeopardy tonight
The list of things humans are better at than machines may drop by one tonight, when IBM's Jeopardy-playing robot takes on two human challengers.
The robot, named Watson, will take on former champions Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter over the course of three days, starting tonight. Can the humans possibly stand up to a computer that fills an entire room that was custom-built for this purpose at great expense? If the previews were any indication, there's not much hope for my human brothers, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Actually, I heard more about the machine and I went from not-so-impressed to quite so.
The machine has to interpret and understand the Jeopardy questions before answering the question--which mind you, often employs a variety of English mechanics like puns.
I forgot if whether or not the machine had access to the internet.
