Is seeing yourself from the third-person worth looking this silly? Brr-instructables-3rdperson-thumb-550xauto-54293

Instructables user, BigRedRocket, apparently wasn't satisfied with seeing the world from a crystal-clear first person perspective so he took it upon himself to build a contraption that would let him see himself from the third-person.

Wiring a camera and a small heads-up display, BigRedRocket built himself a vest that basically turns you into a real-life Sims character. Looking through the HUD, the wearer can walk around and see things from a totally differ perspective — in real time.

Look on the bright side, at least the bag that's used to cover the wiring will make you a hit with the geeks. Best of all, no one will know who you are when you embarrass yourself around town.
