Hilarious robotic curtain moves quickly to stop onlookers Robotic-privacy-curtain-thumb-550xauto-49336

The workshop that Niklas Roy works out of has a big open window in the front of it and sometimes he wishes he could have a little more privacy. Get some curtains, right? Well, he did, but made a clever adjustment to them for some hilarious results.

His system uses a security camera, a computer to think through it all and a motorized curtain to block peeping eyes. The end result is when someone walks by his workshop, the curtain slides along the rails to keep up with them, blocking their view.

Now, the system can really only handle one person at a time, and it looks like it has a little trouble keeping up — not to mention the billowy nature of the curtain doesn't help things. But you know what? It's still doing it's job. Not a single person walking by looked into the workshop. They were all fixated on the magically sliding curtain that was shadowing them. Then again, if Roy wanted to keep the curious away, this is only going to bring them in droves.

Check it out in the video below.

A practical solution to using less curtain and more evil robot wizardry.

I would use a pair of panties instead of that skimpy cloth.
