Fujitsu has unveiled what is undoubtedly the future of charging our devices with the debut of their wireless charging system.

The researchers developed the resonance-based wireless recharging system to charge devices in 1/150th the time it takes today with the ability to charge devices anywhere within the power-transmitter's range. The commercial version of this prototype is expected to hit the market sometime in 2012, but the really exciting news is that the company hopes to some day apply this system to the charging of electric cars.
