Israel, Palestine and Disputed Land

I want more details into this controversial matter, because from what I understand huge swaths of land were stolen by the Israelis due to partitioning of lands after WWII to the addition of individual sales of land to the Isreals, as the Arabics were poor refugees.

Furthermore, is this diagram true?





I've been acknowledged of this issue, but I did not completely understand the matter and was not clear on how much land used to belong to the Palestinians.

But should it really belong to the Palestinians?

It doesn't belong to anyone. Levant has been the ancestrial land of dozens of cultures over thousands of years. It belongs to the Jews just as much as the Muslims and Christians. It belong to both Isrealis and Palestinians. Instead of fighting over it in petty land disputes they should elect some type of joint governship. Create a new council of Muslims and Jews and scrap the name of Israel and Palestine and create a single unified country. What I am saying will never happen as both sides are being childish. Politics, aint it great?

I highly doubt that either of these sides (or the others around that area) will accept unification.
